Definition

In 13C NMR spectroscopy, a technique in which all 13C!1H splitting is suppressed with the use of two rf transmitters.

Explanation

The first transmitter makes 13C resonate, while the second transmitter causes all 1H to resonate. In effect, decoupling occurs, in which all the signals are shown as singlets.
