An elimination reaction in which the leaving group only leaves after deprotonation occurs. This process occurs at the end of an aldol condensation.
Explanation
The elimination reaction where carbanion formation follows the next step of the expulsion of the leaving group of a carbon. The formation of Pi bonds is also present after elimination, leaving of the group expulsion is the rate-determining step.
